What Is A Caller
Like the Postman who delivers mail thru sleet, snow, rain, etc: A caller must also
deliver. He must be at the hall on time, set up and be ready to call the dance if
there is one square or twenty.He is also like the Captain of a ship:
It's his responsibility to run the dance, ending on time and leaving the dancers smiling
and happy - - - that's his greatest reward.
As a dancer I feel an obligation to support our local callers and as a caller I
feel just as responsible to support the dancers.
Without one we could not have the other.
